eCourts Services: A Revolutionary Tool for Court Information
eCourts Services is a mobile application available on Google Play Store and Apple App Store. This free app provides information related to cases filed in the subordinate courts and most of the high courts in India. The eCourts Mission Mode Project, monitored and funded by the Department of Justice, Ministry of Law and Justice, Government of India, is a pan-India project for the district courts across the country.
One of the main features of the eCourts Services app is the Search by CNR, which is a unique number assigned to each case filed in the district and taluka courts in the country, through the Case Information System. By simply entering the CNR, one can get the current status and details of the case. Additionally, the app offers services under different captions, such as Case Status, Cause List, Calendar, and My Cases.
The eCourts Services app is useful to citizens, litigants, lawyers, police, government agencies, and other institutional litigants. It is a useful tool for members of the judiciary, advocates, litigants, police, government agencies, and other stakeholders.
